Listen up….if you are an affiliate marketer, you would have heard of link cloakers. Probably you are using one already.
Most are free and the basic ones just do one thing…and that is to cloak your links so that your links not only look friendlier but it also prevents stealing of your commission.
But once the promotion is over and if the seller decide not to sell the product that you are promoting anymore, then you are left with a dead link. Anyone that clicks on your affilate link will go no where….and this is one of the ways that you would lose potential commission.
Previously the only way to ensure that your affiliate link works is to manually check them one by one. If you only have a couple of links, then that is fine.
But when you have lots of links, checking each one of them is really tedious and takes loads of time….not a very wise way to spend your time.
So most marketers don’t bother to check and this is where you would leak commission revenue.
Not anymore with Link Shield. This is one of the latest and most advanced link cloakers but what made me want to check it out was this feature that plugs that leak.
I am really impressed that this plugin is very smart because it can detect dead links. And what it does when that happens is that it automatically redirects your visitor to an alternate page that you can display, with all the working links. That way, you don’t lose the opportunity to potentially make a commission.
To me that feature alone is worth the price of the plugin. No more spending my time rooting out all the dead links.
The other feature that caught me eye is the fact that this tool works perfectly with responsive sites….meaning that my affiliate links stay intact even when the prospects read it on their smartphone.
With more and more people accessing the internet on their smart phone, this feature is crucial in ensuring that you do not lose your prospects just because your affiliate link don’t work on their smart phones.
Link Shield, to me, is the mother of all link cloakers…for the simple reason that it is not only a link cloaker but has all features that help you prevent losses through wastage and leakages.
Should you add Link Shield to your marketing arsenal?
Definitely if you are a serious affiliate marketer. The advanced features of this tool will make your management of your links so much more organised and will boost your commissions in the long run.
Why not check out the demo video that displays the full array of what Link Shield can do? I am sure you will then agree with me that this is one of the must have tools in your marketing war chest.
